Headed off on a 5 hour train trip into Slovenia to this mountain and lake region for 4 days.
This photo I took in Graz at a unique sets of 2 spiral staircases that intersect on each other and at the top looking out the window on to other buildings. The photo also shows my reflection in the window giving a very Picasso look to the picture. I was finally able to capture the scenic view of Frohnleiten with proper light when the sun came over the hill as I waited for my train.A 5-6 hours of 3 different trains and crossed into Slovenia where an immediate change of infrastructure was apparent for this country. The train station at the town I am staying in. This local train does not run on electric like many trains in Austria Clear little rivers run thru the town High snow capped mountains circle the area. The summer season is over so it’s a shoulder season before snow activities appear in this region.
