Days quickly pass here in the boatyard. Everyone is on a mission to prepare their boat to launch for their season of sailing and folks work all day sanding and painting and evening looking online for parts to order to repair or replace. Big projects like “repowering” which is replacing the whole engine out which isn’t easy or cheap on a sailboat. It’s a friendly and helpful community.

I’ve been busy cleaning and checking systems like anchor and windlass and getting quotes for house battery upgrade. Upgrading the galley with new kitchen items and cleaning out shelves and new frig monitoring systems and so. Pickleball at the nearby kombucha shop is a nice distraction every few days. The organizer even gives us pickleball lessons.
