It has been a busy 3 weeks in the boat yard picking up on boaters conversations about repairs, boats and products. Other boaters in the yard who most live in their tree houses as well while getting ready, are happy to lend a hand or answer a boating issue you are working with. You see people on and off all day for multiple days and you learn their names and a quick follow-up on their projects and progress while in passing.

I’ve had multiple group dinners with boaters on my boat and two other thanksgiving dinners and one boatyard caroling event.

Off to Daytona beach for a flight west and I’ll return to my boatyard buddies in a few weeks.

The pickleball club that I attended about 8 times was a fun and small court and community at a kava bar near the boat. It was nice to play a few days a week and many would remember my name and jump back in for some games.
