Heading back to Titusville

By

After 2 weeks in vero beach, it was time to sail the boat north back to Titusville for the haul out on dry land for the summer.

I found new crew and we sailed the 64 miles in one day mostly under sail due to other engine issues and got a tow for the last 1/4 mile. We got hauled out the next day. The next few days were busy with preparing the boat for the summer season by removing the head sail and other canvas work to handle the summer winds and heat. I managed a few mornings of pickleball with the roots pickleball club and other walks and activities with locals.

The summer heat has arrived with temperatures often around 100 degrees with high humidity. It’s time to head back to California!
