I manage to keep a busy schedule of activities while at the cabin. The biggest task of the summer is hosting pacific crest trail hikers who hitch down from sonora pass and stay a night or two at the cabin. Feeding them dinner and breakfast and other logistics to get them resupplied and refreshed to get back on the trail.

This summer is filled with numerous Pinecrest community lodge activities of music jams and Sunday morning free pancake breakfasts. Also out maintaining local Pinecrest trails and exploring and hiking trails in the wilderness.

Developing a lightweight plein air painting kit to enable more painting in remote placing with hiking.

Getting the flotilla out again with some repairs to kayaks and sailboats ⛵️

Getting the various collection of bicycles running and oiled is another early summer activity so hikers and myself can jump on bikes and get around the Pinecrest area.
