A easier day of 23 km and 200 meters of elevation. Today I combined two stages into one and went from Most na Soči to Kobarid thru Tolmin.

The morning started by meeting up with a cyclist couple with young child from Italy and another hiker from France for coffee and breakfast at an outdoor art cafe. The afternoon was a 18 km hike up the soči valley and river to the city of Kobarid. It was even warmer today and hot weather. I ended up reconnecting with a Belgium hiker I had met the day before who had been hiking also for 10 days yet we had never seen each other. We hiked 3 hours into Kobarid and we had dinner together in town. The town was offering a local festival in the old part of town.
