It’s both a joyful time and also a sad time knowing that this Camino experience has come to an end. I think for many that I have met on this Camino, it was such a special experience they would consider doing another one.

The idea to create a WhatsApp trail family – tramily – chat group has been fun and rewarding way to glue all of these meetings and conversations together while simultaneously connecting all of these people together too in a way that they didn’t plan for. It has been a magical way to push a simple Camino connection into something slightly more by asking them to join this group and we part of this family organized by this hiker from California.

Today at the main church in Santiago a 2027 film was being filmed called her way, created by the same film director that created the famous the way movie. The square was occupied this year by an encampment of a protest group, similar to other protests groups that have been organizing and protesting all over Europe this fall.
