The summer solstice – strawberry moon is a bittersweet time when another year has reached it longest daylight hours day but summer is just starting filled with warmer days and nights.

I hiked to the top of the hill above the lake and treated to an amazing sunset while waiting for the moon to rise over the big mountains.
