A shorter 18 km stage to Mojstrana. It was a nice sunny day for the start of this trail. Early in the section the trail climbs nearly a 1000 high above the valley floor and you come across tiny farming villages and homes perched in the steep slopes. You have to cross thru cow fences. Other steep decent to get back to the trail mostly in the valley. As you hike along you connect with many intersecting trails that head up to the Julian alps peaks where hikers climb the pointed mountain tops. Several miles was on this newly paved bike trail that was busy with touring cyclists.
