An interesting hike today where the trail crossed typical Slovenia farms but also followed steep river canyons and slot canyon gorges straight up into the Italian alps. The trail had several tiny and high suspension bridges, an old military tunnel thru the rock and sections of trail so cliffy falling into a steep river gorge slot they provided a hand cable to hold in places.

The trail lacks a good hiking trail last 15 km into Italy so took a bus to get to Travisio in Italy. This is the only city stop in Italy.

About 4 hours and 11 km with some tricky climbs and slow moving cliff sections.
