Yesterday I flew to Portugal to start the Portugal Camino hike starting in Porto Portugal.

A long travel day of a bus ride and 3 flights and a train ride before finally arriving at my hostel literally in the train station building. Today started with finding a place to repair my glasses that lost the screw and meeting other Camino hikers and hanging out in Porto to hiking about 15 km to Matosinhos.

Met hikers today from Germany, Norway and Indiana.

Walked around Porto and got my pilgrim passport to get stamps.

The hike today followed the bay out of Porto and then circled north along the Atlantic coast line as it will mostly for the next 12-14 days before heading inland to Santiago Spain.
